Santana Harvey is a 4 Star recruit who plays Defensive Tackle at Lakeland High School. Harvey is ranked as the 304th best recruit in the class of 2027 and is ranked as a top 35 Defensive Tackle in the class as well. In addition, Harvey is listed as a top 40 recruit in the state of Florida and is listed as the #2 Defensive Tackle in the state of Florida. He holds offers from schools such as Oklahoma, Florida State and Kansas State.
Who are some role models in your life?
My mom is a big role model in my life. She helps me every day and shows incredible strength. She’s a true leader.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Before games, I listen to Lil Durk, Lil Yab, Reace Sosa, and WhamSpinThabin.
What are the strengths of your game?
I play the run really well and I’m strong in pass rushing—I can do both. I’m also good at swatting the ball down and creating turnovers.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory is earning a starting spot on varsity at just 15 years old.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
I’ve played with a lot of great players, but the best I’ve played with is Keon Young—a 4-star going to Ole Miss. The best I’ve played against is Canon Pickett, a 4-star offensive lineman from Tampa Bay Tech.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Keep working, stay humble, and keep your head down. Keep your grades up, listen to your coaches, and most importantly—listen to your parents.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’d travel to Portugal. It’s a fascinating place, and I love fútbol.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was 5 years old. Honestly, I feel like I was born with a football in my hand.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I’d want to meet LeBron James—he’s not only a great athlete, but a great person.

Watching Lamar Jackson play in person.
