Dylan Drennan is a 2024 recruit who plays Punter at Jesuit Prep Dallas High School. Drennan is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2024 and is ranked as the 28th best Punter in the class as well. In addition, Drennan is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Texas and is listed as a top 10 Punter in the state of Texas.

My kicking mentors, Adam Tanalski and Scott Blanton
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Usually for pregame tunes, my team chooses rap.
What are the strengths of your game?
My mental fortitude and my persistence are my strengths.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory was a rainy, cold game last season. In the last 5 seconds, my school intercepted a pass to win the game 16-12.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best players I’ve played with are Robert Fitzgerald (Northwestern) and Matt Craycraft (Duke). Each was an amazing leader and teammate, and most of all, both were nice guys and great role models.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Keep working hard on your craft to achieve excellence.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would travel to Hawaii. I would love to go to the beaches or go cliff jumping.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was 8 years old when I truly fell in love with the sport of football.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Michael Phelps, I would talk to him about his personal experience of becoming an elite athlete and maintaining his elite performances.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
Watching Justin Tucker of the Ravens kick a game winning 66 yard field goal against the Lions.
