Hendrix Hill is a 2027 recruit who plays Wide Receiver at Isidore Newman High School. Hill is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Wide Receivers in the class as well. In addition, Hill is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Louisiana and is listed among one of the top Wide Receivers in the state of Louisiana. He currently holds offers from Washington, Baylor and Sacramento State.
Who are some role models in your life?
My mom and dad have always been incredible role models. They’ve taught me the importance of hard work and being a good person, on and off the field.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I usually go with YoungBoy, Rod Wave, G Herbo, and sometimes a little bit of Drake. It helps me lock in and find that balance between calm and intensity.
What are the strengths of your game?
My biggest strengths are my ability to create separation from defenders and gain yards after the catch. That YAC ability is something I take a lot of pride in.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
Scoring an 80-yard touchdown on my very first snap as a freshman on varsity—that’s a moment I’ll never forget. It set the tone for how I wanted to carry myself in high school football.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
I’ve been blessed to play alongside some amazing talent—Brett Bordelon, Eli Friend, Jake Randle, George Loop, and Henry Jackson are all guys who made me better every day.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Put in the work, trust the process, and most importantly, trust God. My trainer, Albert Brock, always tells me, “Everything done in the dark always comes to light.” That mindset has stuck with me—it’s about doing the right things even when no one’s watching.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’ve always wanted to visit Africa. There’s so much culture, history, and beauty there—I definitely plan to make that trip one day.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I’ve loved football for as long as I can remember. Honestly, it feels like I’ve loved it since I was born. The game teaches you so much more than just how to win—it teaches life.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Michael Jordan. His work ethic, drive, and the way he turned setbacks into fuel—he earned everything. I respect that mentality.
