Who are some role models in your life?
The biggest role model in my life has been my mom. She’s helped so much—not just financially or driving me to places—but she’s always been there for me, no matter what.
What are the strengths of your game?
My strong suit is definitely pass protection. I take pride in using my size to dominate the D-line and shut down the rush before it even starts.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
Beating Hutto Middle in a blowout was unforgettable. I’m super competitive, and winning like that—especially against a rival—was magical.
Who is the best player you’ve ever played with or against?
Demetrius “Sammy” Johnson. He’s fast, strong, smart, and driven. His ability to get to the quarterback is something I really respect and study.
What advice would you give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Work your ass off. That’s it. If you grind hard enough, coaches and scouts will find you. And don’t forget to enjoy the game—don’t stress over all the stuff outside the field.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Hawaii. It’s where my mom used to live, and I’ve always thought it sounded like an amazing place to relax and explore.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I started playing in 7th grade, and I knew right away it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Even before that, I was telling everyone I’d go to the NFL.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Penei Sewell. I study his film all the time—his technique, strength, and mindset are everything I aim to model in my own game.
What is your favorite sports moment as a fan?
Either watching the Texans blow out the Browns—that was huge for me—or watching my brother get a pick-six in his game. Both moments were unforgettable.
