Who are some role models in your life?
Some role models in my life are my mom, for one. I also look up to some guys in college football and the NFL, like Caleb Downs and Kyle Hamilton.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Usually, I listen to NBA YoungBoy to get pumped up before games.
What are the strengths of your game?
My strengths are being a great communicator and leader on defense. I’m very vocal. Playing free safety, I can easily cover sideline to sideline and come downhill to make plays in the run fit.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory is probably getting my first offer while I was at Dairy Queen. Also, when I was little, I hit front in the end zone while running to score.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best I’ve played with is probably Ethan Ellington. In 7-on-7, it’s probably JJ Dunnigan. I played against Micah Welch.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Some advice I’d give is to stick to the plan—it’ll all work out in the end. Keep working, don’t let people bring you down, block out the noise, and stay on the right path.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was 5 when I fell in love with the game.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one hero, it would probably be Deion Sanders.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan is probably when LeBron came back from being down 3-1.
