Gunnar Greenwald:The New USF Tight End

Gunnar Greenwald is a 3 Star recruit who plays Tight End at Satellite High School. Greenwald is ranked as a Top 50 Tight End in the nation and is also a Top 10 Tight End in the state of Florida. Gunnar is committed to play at USF next fall.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

Definitely Gronk and Obj. I liked Gronks skills at tight end and Obj’s hunger to work hard.

What high school is your biggest rival?

Melbourne High School

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Definitely gotta listen to Uzi, Drake, DMX, and some more 90s rap.

What is your offseason training like?

 A lot of lifting, running, drills, routes, etc

What is your favorite memory of your high school career?

Beating Space Coast in over time.

What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?

All of it. Every skill I have and have to improve on I’ll transition to the next level.

What made USF stand out from other schools?

The coaching staff and location and what the future has to hold for USF.

What do you want to accomplish on and off the field during your time at USF?

I want to be the best tight end to play at USF, walk out with a degree, and hopefully a contract to the NFL.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

When the Packers beat the Steelers in Super Bowl 45
