Fletcher’s Star Lineman: Takaylen Muex

Takaylen Muex is a 3 Star recruit who plays Interior Offensive Line at Fletcher High School. Muex is ranked among one of the top recruits in the nation and is ranked as a top 75 Interior Offensive Lineman in the nation as well. In addition, Muex is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Florida and is listed as a top 10 Interior Offensive Lineman in the state of Florida. He is committed to play at Miami.

Who are some role models in your life?

Some role models in my life are my mother, head coach and the man above.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Before games I listen to Jdot Breezy and Tee Grizzley.

What are the strengths of your game?

I think my strengths are my hands and feet.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory is beating Ed White. 

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Be patient, everyone’s timing is different.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Hawaii or London

5 years old.
