Emanuel County Institute’s Star Sophomore: Chase Johnson

Chase Johnson is a 2027 recruit who plays Running Back at Emanuel County Institute High School. Johnson is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Running Backs in the class as well. In addition, Johnson is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Georgia and is listed among one of the top Running Backs in the state of Georgia. He holds offers from schools such as Tennessee, Auburn and UCF.

Who are some role models in your life?

Some role models in my life are my parents. They work hard everyday without complaining.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I listen to Rod Wave before every game.

What are the strengths of your game?

One of the biggest strengths of my game is my speed.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory of my career is scoring 3 touchdowns and getting a pick against Lanier County in the first round of the playoffs.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve ever played with is my teammate Hudson Henry. The best player I’ve played against is Amir Jackson.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Work hard and always put God first.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

It would probably be Hawaii because it looks very nice and peaceful.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I was 9 years old when I really fell in love with the game.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet one sports hero it would probably be Tyreek Hill.
