Ben Bankowitz is a 2026 recruit who plays Offensive Guard at Edgewater High School. Bankowitz is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Offensive Guards in the class as well. In addition, Bankowitz is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Florida and is listed among one of the top Offensive Guards in the state of Florida. He currently holds an offer from Cincinnati.

Who are some role models in your life?

Some role models in my life are Jesus and my mom.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I listen to a lot of Lil Baby.

What are the strengths of your game?

The strengths of my game are my footwork, core strength and blocking.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory of my career so far is beating Don Bosco Prep 34-10.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve played against is Mike Mcclenton.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Some advice I would give is to keep working as hard as you can.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would go to Hawaii. I love swimming and the beach.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I fell in love with the game when I was 13 years old.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet one sports hero, it would be Larry Allen. He’s always been my favorite offensive lineman and I feel I could learn a lot from him.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment as a fan, was the Patriots coming back from down 28-3 in the Super Bowl.
