Walter Maestre Jr is a 2027 recruit who plays Wide Receiver at East Coweta High School. Maestre Jr is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Wide Receivers in the class as well. In addition, Maestre Jr is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Georgia and is listed among one of the top Wide Receivers in the state of Georgia. He holds offers from schools such as USC, Texas A&M and Ole Miss.

Who are some role models in your life?
My role models are my parents. They keep me pushing to the next level and constantly support me through everything.

What artists do you listen to pregame to get hyped up?
Before games, I listen to Chucky – Hiccup and Raq Baby – Free Da Oops to get locked in and bring that energy.

What are the strengths of your game?
My strengths are my size, hands, footwork, football IQ, ball-tracking ability, and overall aggressiveness on the field.

What is your favorite memory of your career so far?
Scoring my first touchdown as a freshman on varsity. That moment made everything feel real.

Who is the best player you’ve ever played with or against?
I’ve had the opportunity to play with some elite talent like Jeremiah Smith, Cortez Mills, Bryce Fitzgerald, Derrion Horsley, and Nicholas Lennear.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
First, maintain good grades. When you feel weak, push your body harder—and work in silence.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Dubai.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was 6 years old when I fell in love with football.
