Who are some role models in your life?
Some role models in my life are my older cousins, uncles, and of course my dad and mom. I really look up to my family—they mean everything to me.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I like to listen to Nipsey Hussle, Meek Mill, Lil Baby, and NBA YoungBoy before games. Honestly, I’ll listen to any song that gets me going and ready to play.
What are the strengths of your game?
The strengths of my game are my ability to fill holes and gaps and do my job. I love flying around the field and being physical. But I always push myself to be better—nothing is ever good enough for me.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory so far is going to my first high school playoff game last year. Even though we lost by a couple points, the energy was unforgettable. I want that feeling again.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve played with is probably Jon Loane from my time with the OC Buckeyes 14U—he’s a beast on both sides of the ball. As for someone I’ve played against, I’d say Bear Bachmeier.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Keep working and be mentally tough. That’s the key. And trust that God will lead the way.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’d go to Samoa to connect more deeply with my culture and history.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I’ve loved the game since I was about 6 or 7 years old.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I’d want to meet Kobe Bryant.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite moment was when the 49ers made it to the Super Bowl in 2020. Even though they didn’t win, I was just proud to see them get there.
