Amari Vickerson is a 2027 recruit who plays Defensive Tackle at Cypress Ranch High School. Vickerson is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Defensive Tackles in the class as well. In addition, Vickerson is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Texas and is listed among one of the top Defensive Tackles in the state of Texas. Some role models in my life are my parents and my older brothers.

The strengths of my game are my IQ, speed and mindset.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory is winning defensive MVP in my youth football league all star game.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player l’ve played against is Pearland offensive tackle Colby Rao.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Have a different mindset than your peers and separate yourself.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I wanted to travel anywhere in the world it would be to Japan or Greece.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I was about 5 or 7 years old when I truly fell in love with the game because my father played in the NFL.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet a pro athlete it would be Aaron Donald because of his mindset and how he carries himself.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment was when I would walk out of the tunnel with my dad after games and see fans screaming his name.
