Cameron James is a 2026 recruit who plays Wide Receiver at Clover High School. James is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Wide Receivers in the class as well. In addition, James is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of South Carolina and is listed among one of the top Wide Receivers in the state of South Carolina.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

I was inspired by Odell Beckham Jr.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I like to listen to Yes Indeed by Drake and First Day Out by Tee Grizzley, as well as some country.

What is your offseason training like?

I work out every day at my high school, and in the afternoon.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory of my career is probably when It was the first play in my 8th grade middle school championship, and I had a pick and ran 86 yards to the house for a pick 6.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve played against is probably my boy Samari Matthews.

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is fish, sushi or an egg sandwich with a protein shake.

When did you realize you were talented at football?

I realized I could go D1 when I went to college camps and would win almost every rep against high school kids with offers already. Also my grades are great so that plays a big role too.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet my sports hero I would meet Tom Brady, how he gets prepared for practice and games is crazy to me.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment as a fan was when I went to a Clemson game, the atmosphere was insane.
