In addition, Beadle is listed as a Top 10 recruit in the state of South Carolina and is listed as the #2 Combo Guard in the state of South Carolina. Joshua Beadle is committed to play at Clemson next fall.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NBA Players?

Really just my sisters, my sisters played basketball and I grew up playing them in 1 v 1, losing. It also made me a competitor as well. I just really have players I like to watch.

What high school is your biggest rival?

Hammond has probably been our rival because it is like school tradition. But every other school treats it like a rival game when they play us.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I like to listen to Boogiemcnab. He played basketball in North Carolina, but died not too long ago, but he is my go to.

What is your offseason training like?

Weight training and eating a lot. The basketball stuff will come, but I have been focusing on getting stronger and gaining weight.

What is your favorite memory of your high school career, so far?

My second championship because we lost to that same team earlier in the season. And I told the guys we have to play them again. I have never hoped for a team to win so we could play them so much.

What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?

All parts. But mostly the talent of creating for others. I will have to shoot more jumpers though because now I get to he basket a lot and in college that is not high percentage for a guard going up against athletic 7 footers every night.

What made Clemson stand out from other schools?

A lot of things, it just checked off my list in what I wanted in a school, and now my playing time depends on me.

What do you want to accomplish on and off the court during your time at Clemson?

To be a great student athlete, stay healthy, and someday get my degree

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

Probably Lou Williams because that is my favorite player and he seems knowledgeable about life and I know he could give me a lot of great advice.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

Watching my friend Ashlyn who plays on the girls team at my school dunk in game. On the camera you can see me celebrating in the background.
