Clear Lake’s Star Freshman Athlete: Jaxson McIntire

Jaxson McIntire is a 2027 recruit who is an Athlete at Clear Lake High School. McIntire is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Athletes in the class as well. In addition, McIntire is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Iowa and is listed among one of the top Athletes in the state of Iowa. He currently holds an offer from Iowa State.

Who are some role models in your life?

My dad is a big role model in my life. He played professional football himself and has taught me everything I know. 

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I usually listen to NBA YoungBoy.

What are the strengths of your game?

I believe physically is a big part of my game. I try to be as physical as possible when I’m in at quarterback.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

One of my favorite memories is when we beat Waverly Shell-Rock in my first homecoming game.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I had been grateful to play with would be Thomas Meyer.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Stay true to your work and keep working towards your dreams.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I’d travel to bora bora because of the tropical climate. 

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I’ve loved football since I was very young. I watched my dad finish his professional career when I was very little and I’ve loved football ever since.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I’d say Tom Brady

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

I’d say my favorite moment was the Iron Bowl this year.
