Tristan Washington is a 2026 recruit who plays Safety at Cheshire Academy. Washington is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Safeties in the class as well. In addition, Washington is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Connecticut and is listed among one of the top Safeties in the state of Connecticut. He currently holds an offer from UConn.

Who are some role models in your life?

Some role models in my life are my mother and my father. They teach me and give me wisdom about everything.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

It would definitely be Rod Wave.

What are the strengths of your game?

Some strengths of my game are my physicality, man to man coverage, and my IQ.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory right now is when I took a 98 yard touchdown back on a kick return to tie up a game. It’s by far my favorite.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

Some of the best players I’ve played with are Dante Reno, Eli Newby, and Luke Reynolds.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Some advice I’d give to an aspiring d1 athlete is to just keep your head down and keep grinding. Every coach in the country loves a hard worker that just gets after it day in and day out.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I could travel anywhere in the world I’d definitely go to Hawaii. It looks so nice and peaceful there. I would definitely love to visit there soon.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I think I was 10 when I knew I loved the game of football.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet one sports hero, it would be Deion Sanders. I would love to pick his brain and learn from the best.
