Eli Woodard is a 3 Star recruit who is an Athlete at Chaparral High School. Woodard is ranked as the 602nd best recruit in the class of 2027 and is ranked as a top 50 Athlete in the class as well. In addition, Woodard is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of California and is listed as a top 15 Athlete in the state of California. He holds offers from schools such as USC, Oregon and Washington.
Who are some role models in your life?
Definitely my mom. I see how hard she works, and it pushes me to go even harder so I can take care of her one day.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I usually start with Tems, Jhene Aiko, and YoungBoy. Early in warm-ups I like to stay calm and mellow, but as game time gets closer, I flip the switch and turn up the energy.
What are the strengths of your game?
Speed and route running are the biggest strengths in my game. I take pride in creating separation—whether it’s at the line or at the top of the route. That’s what sets me apart.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
Scoring my first touchdown in youth football. That moment sticks with me—it was the spark.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or against in your career?
Dijon Lee from Mission Viejo. He’s patient, disciplined, and really makes you earn everything.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Stay consistent. Everything you want is on the other side of consistency. Keep your head down, focus on your work, and control what you can control.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Dubai and Cabo are both on my list. I want to experience the vibes and take in something new.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with football at 4 years old. It’s been part of me ever since.
