Centennial’s Star Junior Safety: Jaden Walk-Green

Jaden Walk-Green is a 3 Star recruit who plays Safety at Centennial High School. Walk-Green is ranked as the 449th best recruit in the class of 2027 and is ranked as a top 50 Safety in the class as well. Who are some role models in your life?
My biggest role models are my dad and mom. My dad played two sports at BSU, so he knows what it takes to succeed as a student-athlete and has always pushed me to keep elevating. My mom has been my rock—always keeping me grounded and focused, both in the classroom and on the field.

What artists do you listen to pregame to get hyped up?
My pregame playlist is pretty chill—I like to stay locked in and calm. I usually listen to Brent Faiyaz, Drake, and Wale.

What are the strengths of your game?
I’m instinctive. I can come downhill and make a hit, I track the ball well in the air, and I take pride in being a complete player every snap.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
One of my favorite moments was during my sophomore year—making a big hit against Mater Dei that ended up going viral. That play gave me a lot of confidence and proved I could compete at a high level.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Don’t get too caught up in the future. Focus on your schoolwork, your training, and your mindset. The work you put in today creates your tomorrow.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Dubai. The views are unreal, and it’s just one of those places I feel like you have to experience.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with football around age 5, and that love has only gotten stronger as I’ve grown.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Allen Iverson. He wasn’t the biggest, but he had heart and played with everything he had. That mentality really inspires me.
