Growing up in Georgia, were you inspired by any hometown NFL players like Calvin Johnson, Evan Engram, and Demaryius Thomas?
Not really, I was really inspired by Mecole Hardman because he literally grew up in the next town over and is a big name around here.
What high school is your biggest rival?
Elbert County (Mecoleś high school)
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I kind of try to mellow myself out so I throw on some Post Malone and some Yung Pinch.
What is your offseason training like?
It is good. I have gotten a lot faster and stronger. Put on some good weight (235). Could not do it without my guy, Coach Loudermilk training me at 180 sports performance.
What parts of your game, do you hope to transition to the college level?
My speed and athleticism. I also want to transition the mindset of being the most physical guy on the field.
What made Notre Dame stand out from other schools?
When I visited I felt at home, and I loved the campus.
What do you hope to achieve on and off the field during your time at Notre Dame?
On the field I want to be the best Tight End to come out of Notre Dame, and off the field I want to be the best student I can be and get my degree.
What is one of your favorite memories of your high school career?
Scoring against Elbert on the first drive, breaking like three tackles, and diving to the end zone.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
George Kittle
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
As a Tight End who loves watching George Kittle I really liked that play against the Saints last year that got them into field goal range. He ran a choice route and was not going to let one man take him down. The physicality on that play nd the mindset he has when he has the ball is what I am trying to drill in my head now.
