Carrollton’s Star Freshman Receiver: Christian Ward

Christian Ward is a 2026 recruit who plays Wide Receiver at Carrollton High School. Ward is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Wide Receivers in the class as well. In addition, Ward is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Georgia and is listed among one of the top Wide Receivers in the state of Georgia. He currently holds an offer from Arkansas State.

Who are some role models in your life?

My role models are my parents because they do everything for me.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I listen to Baby Drill and Rod Wave to get me hyped.

What are the strengths of your game?

My strengths are route running, toughness, speed, and great hands.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

When I scored 2 touchdowns and had a pick six in 3rd grade

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve played with is Dylon Womack from McEachern.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

I would say never give up, keep grinding and remember that God is with you all the way.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I could travel anywhere, it would be to Puerto Rico.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

When I played flag football with my little brother in 3rd grade.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

My sports hero is Davante Adams.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite moment was when the Seahawks played the Patriots in Super Bowl 49.
