Joshua Echols is a 2027 recruit who plays Linebacker at Buford High School. Echols is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Linebackers in the class as well. In addition, Echols is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Georgia and is listed among one of the top Linebackers in the state of Georgia. He currently holds offers from Ole Miss, Maryland and Florida Atlantic.
Who are some role models in your life?
My parents because they show me how to be a leader and a hard worker.

What are the strengths of your game?
My strength because it helps me shed blocks and my speed because it helps me get from sideline to sideline.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My first varsity tackle against Dacula High School.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I have ever played with is KJ Bolden and the best player I have ever played against is Grayson High School linebacker Tyler Atkinson.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
I can’t really answer that because I’m going through the same process but hard work and dedication can help get to that level.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Los Angeles because famous celebrities and famous athletes are out there like LeBron James, Aaron Donald, Anthony Davis and Cooper Kupp.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
3 years old.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Tom Brady because he is the ultimate leader and winner.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
The Cleveland Cavaliers 3-1 comeback in the 2016 NBA Finals.
