Daylen Sharper is a 2026 recruit who plays Wide Receiver at Brophy College Preparatory High School. Sharper is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Wide Receivers in the class as well. In addition, Sharper is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Arizona and is listed among one of the top Wide Receivers in the state of Arizona. He currently holds offers from Oregon and Arizona State.
Who are some role models in your life?
Two role models in my life are my mom and my grandfather. They both work super hard and I have looked up to them since I was a baby.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Before games, I like to listen to rap songs that have fast melodies to get hyped to. King Von, Lil Uzi Vert, or Babytron.
What are the strengths of your game?
Some strengths of my game are my hands, ability to high point the ball, and ability to make quick moves to get off the line.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory is scoring three touchdowns in a big game in 8th grade.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
I’ve played with many great 2026 guys, including Bastion and Case Vanden Bosh, Devin Fitzgerald, Rylan Humpheries, Brandon Writz, and others.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Some advice I’d like to give aspiring D1 athletes is to not rush the process. This process is a marathon not a sprint.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would travel to Africa to see the culture.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with football when I was a baby, since my father was an NFL player. Although, my mom wouldn’t let me play football until I was in 8th grade.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would like to meet Randy Moss, because I see myself in him and like his game a lot.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan is the Minneapolis Miracle, because I am from Minnesota.
