Brewer’s Star Freshman Linebacker: Kingston Hurst

Kingston Hurst is a 2026 recruit who plays Linebacker at Brewer High School. Hurst is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Linebackers in the class as well. In addition, Hurst is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Texas and is listed among one of the top Linebackers in the state of Texas. He currently holds an offer from Texas Tech.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

An NFL player that inspired me was Ray Lewis. 

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I listen to just regular rap music. 

What is your offseason training like?

My offseason training is amazing because all it does is make me better. 

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory of my career is being able to get coached by my grandpa. 

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve ever played with is my Running Back Kaden Winkfield. 

What was your reaction to getting your first offer?

I was just amazed and surprised to get it

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is wings. 

When did you realize you were talented at football?

The moment I realized I was talented was when I was on my old peewee team called the Forth Worth 

Crimson Tide. 

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet any sports hero, it would have to be Ray Lewis. 

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment was when I was finally able to go to a Cowboys game.
