Brandon’s Star Freshman Running Back: Tyson Robinson

Tyson Robinson is a 2027 recruit who plays Running Back at Brandon High School. Robinson is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Running Backs in the class as well. In addition, Robinson is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Mississippi and is listed among one of the top Running Backs in the state of Mississippi. He currently holds offers from Oregon, Ole Miss and Missouri.

Who are some role models in your life?

My dad and brothers are big role models in my life.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I listen to NoCap and Boosie before the game.

What are the strengths of your game?

The strengths of my game are my speed, vision and power.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

When I scored on the first play of the game against Oak Grove.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve ever played with is Nate Blount. The best player I’ve ever played against is PJ Woodland from Oak Grove.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Be willing to work consistently.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I was 5 years old playing flag football and I’ve never looked back.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

Michael Jordan or LeBron James

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

When the Chiefs beat the Bills after forcing overtime with 13 seconds left.
