Rudy Kessinger is a 2024 recruit who plays Kicker at Bishop Watterson High School. Kessinger is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2024 and is ranked among one of the top Kickers in the class as well. In addition, Kessinger is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Ohio and is listed among one of the top Kickers in the state of Ohio.

Who are some role models in your life?

Some role models in my life are my mom and dad.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Pregame, I’ll listen to some Lil Baby, but on a long bus ride I’ll play some country music.

What are the strengths of your game?

I think my strengths are the height I get on my kicks, and my mentality.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory is hitting a game winner in OT vs a conference opponent.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I have played with is Ohio State commit Ryan Rudzinski.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Never think about quitting and bet on yourself.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I would probably want to travel to Dubai.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I fell in love with football when I was a little kid, but I didn’t start kicking until the end of freshman year.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

One sports hero I would want to meet is Joe Burrow.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite memory as a sports fan is when the Bengals made it to the Super Bowl.
