Bishop Verot’s Star Tight End: Timothy Lawson
Timothy Lawson is a 2024 recruit who plays Tight End at Bishop Verot High School. Lawson is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2024 and is ranked among one of the top Tight Ends in the class as well. In addition, Lawson is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Florida and is listed among one of the top Tight Ends in the state of Florida. He holds offers from schools such as Texas A&M, TCU, and UNC.
Who are some role models in your life?
Definitely my mom and dad, both played sports in college and really have taught me first of all how to live life and second treat people and carry myself.
What are the strengths of your game?
Some of my strengths are my physicality, agility, and hands.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory would have to be this season winning regionals and districts with my team.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
I think the best advice would be to take it serious early and don’t sell yourself short. If you told me when I was a freshman that I’d be in this position, I would have blown it off and said yeah that would be great.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would travel to Italy or Maldives, one for the culture and the other for fishing.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was 6 when I had my first game and it was the most exciting season.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one, it would either be Connor McGregor or Alexander Ovechkin
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment is one of three, Connor McGregor knocking out Jose Aldo, TJ Oshies legendary shoot out against Russia in the Olympics, or going to watch Ovechkin play in real life with my family.
