Bishop Moore Catholic’s Star Freshman Defensive End: Jake Kreul

Jake Kreul is a 2026 recruit who plays Defensive End at Bishop Moore Catholic High School. Kreul is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Defensive Ends in the class as well. In addition, Kreul is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Florida and is listed among one of the top Defensive Ends in the state of Florida. He currently holds an offer from UCF.

What is your offseason training like?

I workout 3 times a day three times a week. 1 rest day and the rest are two a day. I weight lift with my high school, do position specific training with Trenchmen Academy, go to my personal trainer DSP, and do speed training with Excel Speed Sports.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My last middle school game ever with athlete united group, because I had a bunch of sacks and a fumble recovery touchdown.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

When I train at Trenchmen academy I get to go against 4 and 5 Star recruits including someone who I’m blessed to have as a training partner and mentor, Payton Kirkland, he has been essential in my development as an athlete.

What was your reaction to getting your first offer?

I was flabbergasted but also it still really hasn’t hit me. I still feel like the same athlete and person I always was and nothing really has changed with my personality, work ethic, or mentality since I was blessed with the offer from UCF.

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is rice with any meat, but mainly chicken.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet one person it would most likely be the pass rush technician Joey Bosa, as I want see his point of the game and could learn a lot from him

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

I’ve never really had the attention span to watch big televised professional sports. So for me it has to be when my sister won the state championship this past year as a junior.
