Araf Evans Jr is a 2026 recruit who plays Wide Receiver at Bellevue West High School. Evans Jr is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Wide Receivers in the class as well. In addition, Evans Jr is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Nebraska and is listed among one of the top Wide Receivers in the state of Nebraska. He currently holds offers from Penn State and Texas A&M.
Who are some role models in your life?
My dad, Coach Dub and Jalen Ramsey are role models in my life.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Lil Uzi Vert, Big Scarr and Drake are artists that get me hype.
What are the strengths of your game?
My strengths are my vision on the field, my hands and my footwork.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
Getting to start as a freshman during the playoffs.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
My favorite player to compete against is Champ Davis. He never takes a play off and we’ve been training together since we were 10. We push each other every rep.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Never let up and don’t listen to the hate. Ignore negativity and never let it affect you.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I had to choose one, it would be the Bahamas.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with the game when I was 3 years old.
