Myren Jackson is a 3 Star recruit who plays Offensive Tackle at Barstow High School. Jackson is ranked as the 513th best recruit in the class of 2027 and is ranked as a top 50 Offensive Tackle in the class as well. In addition, Jackson is listed as a top 70 recruit in the state of California and is listed as the #2 Offensive Tackle in the state of California. He holds offers from schools such as Penn State, Arizona and Florida Atlantic.

Who are some role models in your life?
A role model in my life is Aaron Donald. I also looked up to him as a kid.

What artists do you listen to pregame to get you hyped up?
I have a playlist, and some of the artists are Maf Teeski, YoungBoy, and EBK Jaaybo.

What are the strengths of your game?
Some strengths of my game are my footwork and my ability to move well for my size.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
When I won the CIF championship last year.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best players I’ve played with and against are Sione Felila and Tarron Thompson from Oak Hills and Silverado.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Put in extra work when no one’s looking and be a coachable player.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I want to visit New York and maybe go out of the country one day.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I started playing football at 5 years old. At first, I didn’t like it because of conditioning, but after I got older, I realized I loved the sport.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would want to meet Odell Beckham Jr. He changed football forever.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan was the 2016 NBA Finals when LeBron blocked Iguodala.
