Tarvis Best is a 2026 recruit who plays Safety at Archbishop Carroll High School. Best is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Safeties in the class as well. In addition, Best is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of D.C. and is listed among one of the top Safeties in the state of D.C.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

I was inspired by Ed Reed and Sean Taylor, the reason I am inspired by these players is because they both have the ability to hit and cover Wide Receivers.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

What is your offseason training like?

I work on footwork, speed, and strength. I’ve been preparing myself more for varsity as an incoming freshman Safety at Archbishop Carroll

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory is when I won my first championship ring in 11U, It was a great feeling but there’s more to come, believe that.

Breyon Williams, Odell Teel, Darrell Carey, Rasaan Smith, Lavar Smith, Drew Williams, Jordan Harrison, and Mark Butler 

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is pizza.

When did you realize you were talented at football?

About a couple of years ago, before I played football I was a nationally ranked boxer and I tried football out and it’s been up ever since.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I would like to meet Floyd Mayweather.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment as a fan was when the Rams won the Super Bowl last year, I was pretty excited.
