Arcanum’s Next Star Quarterback: Jackson Smith

Jackson Smith is a 2027 recruit who plays Quarterback at Arcanum High School. Smith is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Quarterbacks in the class as well. In addition, Smith is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Ohio and is listed among one of the top Quarterbacks in the state of Ohio.

Who are some role models in your life?

My mom and dad are my role models because they have taught me how to have a strong work ethic. My coach Tramain Hall who has trained me my whole life is also a big role model of mine.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Dreams and Nightmares by Meek Mill, 2040 by Lil Baby and First Day Out by Tee Grizzley

What are the strengths of your game?

My mental aspect of the game and how I can use my eyes to read the defense and throw the ball to the weak points.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

Going 8-0 and winning the conference

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Lock in and focus on your sport and let nothing get in the way of your dreams.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I would want to travel to Rome, just because of the history there.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I truly fell in love with the game at around 8 or 9 years old.

Tom Brady
