American Heritage’s Star Sophomore Lineman: Aiden Hartnett

Aiden Hartnett is a 3 Star recruit who plays Interior Offensive Line at American Heritage High School. Hartnett is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Interior Offensive Linemen in the class as well. In addition, Hartnett is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Florida and is listed among one of the top Interior Offensive Linemen in the state of Florida. He holds offers from schools such as USF, UMass and Rhode Island.

Who are some role models in your life?
The biggest role model in my life is my dad. He’s been consistent in everything—always taking me to the gym early in the mornings and showing me what discipline really looks like.

What artists do you listen to pregame to get hyped up?
I listen to a lot of Rod Wave before games. His music gets me in the right headspace.

What are the strengths of your game?
My biggest strengths are drive blocks and pass protection. I take pride in dominating the line and keeping the quarterback clean.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
Winning a state championship with my brothers at Pitbull Stadium. That’s a moment I’ll never forget.

Who is the best player you’ve ever played with or against?
The best player I’ve ever gone up against is actually my teammate, Tim Love. We’ve had some serious battles in practice that pushed me to another level.

What’s some advice you’d give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Stay updated on the rules and regulations, especially around the transfer portal. Understanding how everything works off the field is just as important as your work on it.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Toronto, Canada. That’s where I was born, and it has amazing snowboarding mountains I’d love to visit.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with football at 4 years old—right after my first-ever game.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I’d want to meet Zach Martin. I’d soak up as much knowledge as I could from him.

What’s your favorite sports moment as a fan?
Watching the “Miami Miracle” live.
