Alpharetta’s Star Freshman Linebacker: Ashton Moore

Ashton Moore is a 2026 recruit who plays Linebacker at Alpharetta High School. Moore is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Linebackers in the class as well. In addition, Moore is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Georgia and is listed among one of the top Linebackers in the state of Georgia. He currently holds an offer from Indiana.

My role models in my life are my parents 

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

The artist I listen to pregame is Meek Mill.

What are the strengths of your game?

One of the strengths of my game is that I can play all over the field. I can cover the slot and blitz the quarterback. I view myself as the quarterback of the defense, because I know what everyone is doing.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory of my career was when I was in 8th grade. I stripped the ball and sent team Mississippi to their first FBU championship.

Ayden Williams

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Always do what is best for you. Be coachable, have fun, and don’t ever do anything that you don’t enjoy doing.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would go to Barcelona, Spain

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I fell in love with football when I was 3. My dad played football in college, so I always grew up watching Oregon football. That’s my dream school.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet one sports hero it would be Walter Payton. He’s from Jackson Mississippi, where I’m originally from. To see someone make it out from the same city was a dream.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment as a fan was when the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl.
