Dylan Henry is a 2027 recruit who plays Cornerback at Mandeville High School. Henry is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Cornerbacks in the class as well. In addition, Henry is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Louisiana and is listed among one of the top Cornerbacks in the state of Louisiana. He holds offers from schools such as Oregon State, UCF and Idaho.
Who are some role models in your life?
My biggest role model is my dad.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I have a few favorites, but NBA YoungBoy is number one for pregame.
What are the strengths of your game?
My biggest strength is the amount of film I watch. I study opponents so much that I know what they’re doing and when they’re doing it, which helps me take away the main read and be in the right spot.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory is playing my last game with my 13U travel ball team, La Wave.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or against in your career?
The best player I’ve played with is Nate Sheppard—he can do it all, and I learn from him every day. I’ve also played with a lot of talented players whose names I don’t even know.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
When it feels like nothing is going right, just keep working until everything starts to come together. And always keep God on your side.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’ve always wanted to travel to South America.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with football around age 4, just watching my brothers play. That inspired me.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I’d want to meet De’Anthony Thomas. Growing up, I loved watching him play at Oregon, and I wear number 6 because of him.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan was watching my brother throw a game-winning touchdown in a high school quarterfinal game.
