Chance McPike Jr is a 4 Star recruit who is an Athlete at Paducah Tilghman High School. McPike Jr is ranked as the 245th best recruit in the class of 2027 and is ranked as a top 20 Athlete in the class as well. In addition, McPike Jr is listed as the #3 recruit in the state of Kentucky and is listed as the #1 Athlete in the state of Kentucky. He holds offers from schools such as Ole Miss, Tennessee and Kentucky.

Who are some role models in your life?
One of my biggest role models is my mom. I wouldn’t be able to do a lot of things without her. Her determination pushes me harder every day to succeed, so that one day she can have the life and the things she truly deserves.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Some artists that get me hyped are BossMan Dlow, Rod Wave, and Future.

What are the strengths of your game?
One of my biggest strengths is my football IQ. I study a lot—whether it’s recognizing formations, reading a player, or identifying their tells. I know I won’t always be the biggest, strongest, or fastest on the field, but I believe I’ll always be one of the smartest because of how I prepare.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
There have been many memorable moments, like winning state, but my favorite is from freshman year. In one game, I had 6 receptions, 4 touchdowns, and 255 receiving yards. I broke two school records—for most receiving yards and touchdowns in a single game. That game plays in my mind all the time. I’ll remember it forever.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
I’ve played with and against a lot of great football players, but the best is Aneyas Williams.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Always keep working. If you work hard every day, you’ll eventually be noticed—and when you are, make the most of it.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere, I would definitely go to Iceland.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I’ve loved football since I was around six years old—that’s when I was first introduced to the game. Ever since then, I’ve been passionate about it.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I’d like to meet Ja’Marr Chase. I have a lot of questions about how to become a better receiver and would love to get his advice on the game.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite moment as a fan was watching the Rams win the Super Bowl a few years ago. They were the first team I was ever introduced to, and I’ve always had a special love for them.
