Who are some role models in your life?
My mom is a two-time cancer survivor, so she’s a huge role model for me. Of course, my big brother Dom is also a big influence. He stayed focused on both his grades and football, showing me that hard work and dedication will take me far.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I listen to Rod Wave before every game.
What are the strengths of your game?
My speed rush and strength are my strong points.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
Getting my first offer to OU! Also, getting called up to varsity and having my brother come help out at a Giant Skills camp that I participated in.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or against in your career?
Ryan Rakowski and Dabe Nwude, my teammates!
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Even when you’re tired, give each rep your all like your college scholarship depends on it. Be at the front of the line and in the middle of the huddle!
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Japan – I’m a huge anime fan.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was around it all my life because of my brother, but I truly fell in love with it when my brother took me on an official visit to Cal. We played catch on the field, just the two of us. The entire stadium was empty, and it was just me and him out there. That’s when I realized football could take me places.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Fred Warner. I’m studying him because I’ll be playing middle linebacker this season.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
Because of Dom, I’ve had a lot of cool moments. Going on official visits with him and touring facilities was really cool. Being in the locker room after a college football win was also an amazing experience. I played and won a championship game at the SoFi Center. My brother played in the national championship but didn’t get the ring, so I’ve got the bragging rights!
