The #3 Sophomore Quarterback In Georgia: Teddy Jarrard

Teddy Jarrard is a 4 Star recruit who plays Quarterback at North Cobb Christian School. Jarrard is ranked as the 250th best recruit in the class of 2027 and is ranked as a top 20 Quarterback in the class as well. In addition, Jarrard is listed as a top 40 recruit in the state of Georgia and is listed as the #3 Quarterback in the state of Georgia. He holds offers from schools such as Auburn, Miami and Wisconsin.

Who are some role models in your life?
Some role models in my life are my coaches—Coach Gary Varner and Coach Matt Jones. But above all, my dad is my biggest role model. He’s always looking out for my best interests and willing to do whatever it takes to help me reach my goals.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I’m not really into music before games. Instead, I listen to podcasts—usually by David Goggins or Kobe Bryant. Their mindset and intensity help me lock in.

What are the strengths of your game?
My strengths are stretching the field with my arm strength, fitting throws into tight windows, and quickly diagnosing and adjusting to defensive schemes.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
So far, my favorite memory is winning a region championship in my first high school season. Sharing that with great teammates and the seniors I looked up to made it unforgettable.

Who is the best player you’ve ever played with or against?
That would be DJ Jacobs. He’s one of the top recruits in Georgia for the 2027 class, and competing with and against him has definitely elevated my game.

What advice would you give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Never miss a day. If you really want it, you have to devote your life to the game. Be a student of the game and soak up everything you can from those around you.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’d go to Greece. The history, the scenery—everything about it fascinates me.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I’ve played football my whole life, but I truly fell in love with it in 8th grade. Since then, I’ve never once dreaded a practice or an early morning.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I’d love to sit down with Tom Brady—not just to talk football, but to learn how he overcame adversity and stayed great for so long.
