Donivan Moore is a 4 Star recruit who plays Defensive Tackle at Hueytown High School. Moore is ranked as the 46th best recruit in the class of 2027 and is ranked as the #3 Defensive Tackle in the class as well. In addition, Moore is listed as the #1 recruit in the state of Alabama. He holds offers from schools such as Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State.

Who are some role models in your life?
My role model is my older brother. I’ve looked up to him ever since I was little, and I’m grateful for everything he’s taught me.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Before a game, I listen to Babydrill and YTB Fatt. Their music really gets me fired up.

What are the strengths of your game?
One of my strengths is chasing plays down and getting into the backfield. I also pride myself on stuffing the middle up front and being relentless.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite career moment was when I caught a pick and returned it for a touchdown. That was an unforgettable play.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve played against so far is Jordan Holmes from Pike Road. He’s a really talented player.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
My advice is to keep going and never stop. There will be haters along the way, but pray about it, keep working hard, and stay focused on your goals.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’d love to go to Turks and Caicos. It seems like a beautiful and peaceful place.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with football when I was about 7 years old. I just couldn’t wait to get out of school to go to practice.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet a sports hero, it would definitely be Ray Lewis. His energy and leadership are unmatched.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite moment as a fan was when Alabama went to the national championship to play Georgia and won back in 2018. It was an incredible game.
