St. Paul’s Star Sophomore Linebacker: Will Abrams
Will Abrams is a 2027 recruit who plays Linebacker at St. Paul’s Episcopal High School. Abrams is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Linebackers in the class as well. In addition, Abrams is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Alabama and is listed among one of the top Linebackers in the state of Alabama. He holds offers from schools such as Michigan, Ole Miss and Boston College.
Who are some role models in your life?
I’d say some role models in my life would be my coaches and parents.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I listen to artists like YoungBoy, Baby Kia and YTB FATT to get me hyped up before a game.
What are the strengths of your game?
I feel like some strengths of my game are my play recognition and physicality.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory so far would be starting against our rivals in my first varsity game.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve ever played with would be Anthony “Tank” Jones. Just watching the way he goes about playing the game helps me learn.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Just keep your head down and grind.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere in the world it would probably be to the Maldives.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was 5 years old when I fell in love with the game of football. My first day playing we were doing Oklahoma’s and when I hit the kid from the opposite side of me and everyone hyped me up, it made me happy. That’s why I like playing defense.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one sports hero it would be Tom Brady or Michael Jordan.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan would have to be the 4th and 31 play in the Iron Bowl.
