McKinney North’s Star Receiver: Kameron Powell

Kameron Powell is a 3 Star recruit who plays Wide Receiver at McKinney North High School. Powell is ranked as the 914th best recruit in the nation and is ranked among one of the top Wide Receivers in the nation as well. In addition, Powell is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Texas and is listed among one of the top Wide Receivers in the state of Texas. He is committed to play at Oklahoma State.

Who are some role models in your life?

Some role models in my life are God and my parents.

What are the strengths of your game?

One of the biggest strengths of my game is my blocking.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory of my career is my first varsity touchdown.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve played with is my teammate Jayden Walker. 

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Trust God and work hard.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I could travel anywhere it would probably be to Jamaica.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I was about 7 years old when I fell in love with the game.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet one sports hero it would definitely be Odell Beckham Jr.
