Nathan Cleveland is a 3 Star recruit who plays Linebacker at Hoffman Estates High School. Cleveland is ranked among one of the top recruits in the nation and is ranked among one of the top Linebackers in the nation as well. In addition, Cleveland is listed as a top 40 recruit in the state of Illinois and is listed as the #5 Linebacker in the state of Illinois. He is committed to play at Minnesota.

Who are some role models in your life?

The biggest role model in my life is my brother, he’s been through the recruiting process and has played division one football. He has been telling me the in’s and out’s about it to get me best prepared.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Before a game I like to listen to gospel music to keep me calm and help me connect with God.

What are the strengths of your game?

The biggest strength of my game is my versatility.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve ever played against would probably be Jaylen Williams.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Don’t worry about getting ranked or receiving offers. Just put your head down and work.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I would want to travel to Peru because I’m part Peruvian and I have never been there before.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I fell in love with football after my freshman year when I realized I can make big things happen playing this sport.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I would want to meet Michael Jordan.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment as a fan was when LeBron James went back to Cleveland and won the NBA Finals.
