Ramsay’s Star Quarterback: Kameron Keenan

Kameron Keenan is a 3 Star recruit who plays Quarterback at Ramsay High School. Keenan is ranked among one of the top recruits in the nation and is ranked as a top 80 Quarterback in the nation as well. In addition, Keenan is listed as a top 50 recruit in the state of Alabama and is listed as the #5 Quarterback in the state of Alabama. He holds offers from schools such as Colorado, Appalachian State and Marshall.

Who are some role models in your life?

Some role models in my life are my older brother and sister. To see the way they persevere through things in life is just jaw dropping and I admire them for that.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

It’s rare that I listen to music before the game, but if I do listen to any music it’s most likely Future or SZA.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory of my career would definitely be winning the state championship as a sophomore. 

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best players I have played with in my career would probably be my former receivers Jalen Jones and Kristian Stinson. 

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Keep God first, always work hard and never let anybody tell you what you can’t do.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I could travel to anywhere in the world, I would want to travel to Bora Bora.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I was about 9 years old when I fell in love with the game.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet one sports hero it would be LeBron James.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment as a fan would be the 4th and 31 Hail Mary from the 2023 Iron Bowl.
