Who are some role models in your life?
My parents, they have guided me to be the man I am today. I have learned so much from them about what hard work looks like and the sacrifices they have made for me and my siblings to be successful.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I really like Pearl Jam, AC/DC, Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath.
What are the strengths of your game?
I am extremely competitive and I don’t take losing lightly. If a guy beats me in a rep I will make sure he doesn’t beat me the next time.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
When my brother Lowen got his first scholarship. I was with him and I was so proud of him and to see his expressions…..were priceless. This is a dream of mine that one day we could play together on the same team. My second favorite I would have to say is when I received my first scholarship. It was huge because it made me realize that anything is possible and I feel I have the potential to play at the next level and make an impact for a team not only on the field but off the field too.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
Jayden Wayne. I trained with him for several months and I loved how he pushed me to work so hard.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
You have to work hard for this. You have to make sacrifices that nobody wants to make.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would love to go to Italy.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was about 12 years old when I fell in love with the game.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Nick Bosa. I am inspired to be like him and striving to be better than him. I constantly watch his high school film and compare it to mine so I can better my game.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
When Joe Tryon got drafted to the NFL. I grew up training with him and to know that he made it, it gave me hope that one day I could also be in the NFL. Seeing the sacrifice he went through to achieve his goals is inspiring and was a great experience for me.
