What are the strengths of your game?
I am disciplined, driven, highly motivated, and work hard everyday to get better. On the field I play through the whistle and do my best to be the best teammate I can be.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My first career start on varsity as a sophomore against Euless Trinity.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
My fellow steamroller Tyler Mercer who now plays center at North Texas. He taught me what it meant to be a Prosper Eagle football player and to be a leader at PHS. Just an all around great dude.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
You have to focus on every aspect of your game. From diet and nutrition, to flexibility and mobility, to sleep and recovery. You have to be a student of the game and always be ready and willing to learn. Lastly stay humble and hungry. You have to want it more than everyone else.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Patagonia
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was 13 years old and in the 8th grade playing for Coach Patterson.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Lane Johnson
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
The first time my little brother sparred at another boxing gym. It took a lot of guts for him to walk in there and fight some older more experienced guys. I was really proud of him.
