Brody Smith is a 2026 recruit who plays Offensive Tackle at Bearden High School. Smith is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Offensive Tackles in the class as well. In addition, Smith is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Tennessee and is listed among one of the top Offensive Tackles in the state of Tennessee. He holds offers from schools such as Penn State, Tennessee and Purdue.
Who are some role models in your life?
It has to be my dad. I’ve just always tried to be like him since I was a kid. Also my godfather Rodney Hudson, both of them help me in football and life.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Travis Tritt, Louis Armstrong, and I like listening to the Halloween theme song like Kobe did, they just get me in a different mode.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
Tyler Atkinson and Bryce Perry-Wright because of their quickness and hands.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Never listen to what other people think and just work.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would go to Germany.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with football this year, as 8th grade was my first time playing and I was hurt last year.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Michael Jordan, he is the most competitive person to ever walk the earth.
