One Of The Best Offensive Lineman In The Class Of 2023: Kadyn Proctor

Kadyn Proctor is a 4 Star recruit who plays Offensive Tackle at Southeast Polk High School. Proctor is ranked as the 31st best recruit in the class of 2023 and is ranked as the #3 Offensive Tackle in the class as well. In addition, Proctor is listed as the #1 recruit in the state of Iowa. According to 247 Sports, his top offers heading into his sophomore season are Oregon, Michigan and Iowa State.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

I always loved watching Taylor Lewan and all of his success.

What high school is your biggest rival?

Everyone is competition and we don’t think anymore or any less of one team because there’s always a way to win or lose.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

A lot of rap like Tee Grizzley, 21 Savage and many more. I also listen to worship music right before I go out, because you praise the lord and his holy name.

What is your offseason training like?

I work out 6 hours a day and eat a lot of food.

What is your favorite memory of your high school career, so far?

That moment when I first stepped on the varsity field as a freshman in front of a big crowd.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your high school career?

Everyone I have gone up against are tough opponents and will be great at what they do.

What do you look for in choosing a college?

I look for a school that has my major, very good coaches that I have a strong bond with, and a good graduation rate.

When did you start looking at colleges, and when did colleges start looking at you?

Colleges started looking at me when I was 14 years old and I started looking right now.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I would love to meet Mean Joe Greene because of how he has that dawg mentality on the field but is that nice loving guy off of it.
