Artie Jackson is a 2027 recruit who plays Defensive End at Edna Karr High School. Jackson is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Defensive Ends in the class as well. In addition, Jackson is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Louisiana and is listed among one of the top Defensive Ends in the state of Louisiana. He currently holds an offer from Florida A&M.

Who are some role models in your life?

Some role models in my life are my father and my head coach, Coach Brice Brown.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

My pregame artists are NBA YoungBoy, Lil Rye, AIA Litt and Ydtheillest.

What are the strengths of your game?

One of the biggest strengths of my game is my vision.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve ever played with is Ole Miss commit Rahji Dennis.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Keep working and don’t pay attention to stars and rankings.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I was 5 years old when I fell in love with football.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I would love to meet either Myles Garrett or Nick Bosa.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

When Sam Hubbard recovered a fumble and ran it all the way back for a touchdown.
