Servite’s Star Freshman Linebacker: Isaiah Leilua

Isaiah Leilua is a 2027 recruit who plays Linebacker at Servite High School. Leilua is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Linebackers in the class as well. In addition, Leilua is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of California and is listed among one of the top Linebackers in the state of California. He currently holds an offer from Arizona.

Who are some role models in your life?

Some role models in my life are my parents. They have put me on a path to succeed in life.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I listen to J Boog, Samu, Fiji and Spawnbreezie before games.

What are the strengths of your game?

The strengths of my game are definitely my IQ and speed. I study the game and know what kind of play is happening before it happens. My speed is something that stands out about my game, getting around blocks and running down people in the open field.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory of my career was walking on the field against Mater Dei. Just remembering that I was once in the stands watching these teams go at it, and now I was part of it. Very surreal moment for me.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve played against so far as a freshman in the Trinity League would have to be Cameron Jones. A running back for Bosco who was very hard to bring down and ran with a motor.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

You have to separate yourself from the pack. Whether that’s choosing the right school that will showcase your talents or simply just out working everybody around you.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I could travel anywhere in the world, it would be to Samoa. I’ve yearned to go back to the motherland and experience life there. To meet all my family and get a better understanding of the culture, but also to enjoy the scenery Samoa provides.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I was about 10 years old when I fell in love with the game. 

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet one sports hero, it would be Junior Seau.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

As a fan, my favorite sports moment was when the 49ers made it to the Super Bowl.
