Weston Nielsen is a 2027 recruit who plays Quarterback at Bastrop High School. Nielsen is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Quarterbacks in the class as well. In addition, Nielsen is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Texas and is listed among one of the top Quarterbacks in the state of Texas. He currently holds an offer from Oregon.

What are the strengths of your game?

My ability to find the open receiver and thread the needle.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

One of my favorite memories is winning the Central Texas 7on7 Championship.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

Buck Randall of Highland Park. I competed against him in a state championship 7on7 tournament and got to work along side him at Elite 11.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Stay focused on improving your craft everyday. Be the hardest worker in the room and be willing to do what others won’t.
