Max Patterson is a 3 Star recruit who plays Wide Receiver at Yorktown High School. Patterson is ranked as a Top 30 recruit in the state of Virginia and, is a Top 10 Receiver in the state as well. Max Patterson is committed to play at Rutgers next fall.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

Tony romo was my favorite football player sicne I grew up in Texas, where football just a lot bigger of a sport than where I live now (Virginia).

What high school is your biggest rival?

Our biggest rival is definitely Washington Liberty highschool, always the best game of the regular season.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I play Youngboy or DaBaby

What is your offseason training like?

 6 days a week lifting and field work in the early morning, typically w one other dude.

What is your favorite memory of your high school career?

So far I gotta say missing this kid from Madison highschool to kinda seal the victory.

What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?

I wanna take my speed and my route efficiency up to the next level and see how far they will develop it.

What made Rutgers stand out from other schools?

 Rutgers recruited me the hardest. They showed real love and true desire unlike so many other schools. That why I chose them over the other ones.

What do you want to accomplish on and off the field during your time at Rutgers?

 I want to become a better filmmaker, and go and get my degree.

When DeSean Jackson returned a punt for the win against the giants on Christmas.
